I don't know if this can be helpful anyway the following is a quick step-by-step to keep the Carmageddon series updated and for using it on the modern operating systems without problems.
Carmageddon:
- download carv24row.zip OR carmarush3d.exe and unzip it in the game's folder (the files containined in them are the SAME except for an additional 3dfx.bat in the second one)
- now the game can be used from:
--- Windows (best choice, CARM95.EXE -hires): download my No-cd fix
http://aluigi.org/patches/carm95_1001.zip--- DOS with a Glide wrapper (like with dgVoodoo): download carmav2a.exe and unzip it in the game's folder
--- DOS: download my No-cd fix
http://aluigi.org/patches/carma.zipCarmageddon 2:
- download and install englishbloodv2_0.exe
- download
http://games.sci.co.uk/games/downloads/ ... ma2_hw.zip and unzip it in the game's folder
Carmageddon TDR2000:
- download and install tdrupgradepatch.exe
- download tdrusminipatch.exe and unzip it in the game's folder
- set the "Windows 98 / Windows Me" compatibility in the properties of tdr2000.exe
- launch the shortcut for configuring the game, if you don't have it create a shortcut of tdr2000.exe and append a -s in the "Target" field (in short you must run: tdr2000.exe -s)
- here is possible to set all the values to the max (like 32 bit and so on) BUT the most important setting is the "Mip-Filter" which MUST be set to "None"
- download my No-cd fix
