So, like the title says, I am basically looking for a way to query a q3-engine based game server (such as cod1, cod2 etc) to get either the full list of connected ip's on the server, or an individuals IP. What would be even better is if there is a way to determine the username of the player belonging to the corresponding IP address, as I think it would be hard (is it?) to flood an individual player on the server, while you have over 10 ip addresses to select from in front of you.

the games that show the IP addresses of the clients are very rare because it's a security issue, one of them was Alien Arena based on the Q2 engine while on cod7 it was possible through the cod7mem security bug.

Ok, thanks. So say I was to try and retrieve the rcon password using your q3dirtrav. If the server disallows downloading, is there a way to get a direct download from the server, without using the games download feature itself? Or, If it does allow downloading, could I be able to get a list of all downloadable files on it?

usually the ways are:
- downloads (q3dirtrav)
- cvars (q3cbufexec)

You can not download anything if they disabled it lol...

anyways to check whats on server (besides configs)

/sv_referencedIwdNames

unless you use a method of /callvote with a carriage return or some kind of shell exploit you wont be able to hack the rcon
