Hello I am currently doing a private gunbound server, and I am in desperate need of help to decrypt / encrypt some .DAT files for this game.

I found this forum link at one a source code and I think that is the best place to get help for this.

I have no idea what the basis for encryption because I have thorough knowledge of it, but I have in hand the game main executable unpacked.

If someone can help me with this I can pay for the service if necessary.

*this DATS are insided in Avatar.xfs file, i have one .XFS file editor if necessary

uhmmm at a first look the first 32bit value is the number of so called "chunks" but the data there has no sense.
anyway no encryption or obfuscation is used because there are too much consecutive equal bytes, I have even some doubts about compression.

I've been in the hands of these files "unencrypted" but not sure if the structure of them is really this. However the data format is something like the this file.

In this file the first 4 bytes indicate the number of file records. and every 644 bytes is stored on the record corresponding to 1 avatar, I think it might be useful to find out how to "translate" information from a .DAT file "encrypted"
