hey guys, this is probably not the right forum for this, if not, just lock it, but umm if u can help me out, can u point me out to any http brute force attackers or dictionary attackers? u know like for using it online, i looked for em but all i find is for encrypted files and stuff

i tried using that but like it only guesses one pass and dosn't work anymore...

I bet you didn't even try to set it up... That program works fine, you can load wordlists/make it generate its own ... But if you are bruteforcing you do know you will be dead before you ever get the password unless it's a stupid one like 12345.
You can check out the CUDA project and go buy 2 Nvidia GTX 280's, not sure if it works with HTTP but if it does you will see speeds increase of 1000% or more.

no i did it right. i put in the url of the log on page. i selected the "select users" and put his name in correctly, and i choose http form,, and the other thing down below target i put as post, then i tried the other one,and they don't work..

for online stuff, brutus indeed is good one to go. it works just fine. my friend tested it on router remote login lately and it works just fine.

well i found a tut, i did exactly as the tut said, when it found out a pass, it was the wrong pass.

i haven't touched brutus for long time myself and i don't have it either atm, however feel free to test on my site:

I made this page specially for my friend so he can test out brutus. it uses the .htaccess authentication, here's the valid user:passuser - admin
pass - test
