hi aluigi.
i would like you to tell me (us) how to exploit different kind of bugs. i know how to exploit stack based buffer overflow (cos you already helped me once). but its very hard to find any kind of papers regarding exploitation of other bugs (heap overflow, memory corruption? etc...).
in my theory, exploiting heap overflow is possible only if theres at least one function address saved on heap (callbacks) that gets called AFTER overflow happens. am i correct?
thanks for all answers!

isn't it nearly the same thing ? Exploiting means that you use a bug to achieve something. i'd say its kind a same. i think that exploiting is same as using bug, glitch or vulnerability to get what ever you was trying to achieve.
