Hi,

I was wondering if its possible to use a packet sniffer/sender to "Hack" packets sent to/from the server, to hack stuff like picking up health, ect...
Is it? 0.o

The Quake 3 engine used by JK2 uses a particular method for handling the packets.
In short each packet is compressed (huffman) and encrypted using a variable key so a sniffer would be only able to read while what you need is a proxy with such abilities.

there is/was allready smtg like that for ET ..maybe not exactly this ( it only had some pb packets modifying- but removed in newer version ^^(great english btw :D )) but it was making your ping better and you are "unbanable"-> its called etbouncer (like an irc bouncer you connect to etbnc etc..) and thats it :=)

that bouncer is only a simple udp datapipe, I was referring just to a real decompresser and decrypter of the packets in real-time

u mean like a wallhack that shows hp?
