I am trying to crack the password to my own server. (brute forceing it)
The First time the password was just Chris
But it took like 48 hours to crack.
How can you make it go any faster and can it crack the rcon if it has symbols:
ex: Chri$

you can't make it faster, the games based on the quake 3 engine handle one rcon packet each half second, so any other packet is dropped which means that if you send one packet with an invalid password followed by one with one correct and the server receives them with a delay between the first and the second of 300 milliseconds, the second one with the correct password is ignored and so you can't be able to guess if it was correct or not
