Hey Luigi,

I haven't been able with gslist to retrieve any server from master server (gamespy) with codwaw.
it looks like to be supported when you check gslist config file and I have manage to get it working with cod4 and ut3 etc...

I have used following command:
Code:
gslist -n codwaw

and no servers appears. :(

Any clue what could be wrong?

Changes since beta version maybe... a new gamespy protocol...?

thanks
bd

it's normal, Gamespy gets many time (even months) sometimes to implement the database of an external game.
a big example was cod4 which was "finally" available on the Gamespy master server after various months from the releasing of the game.

ok, that may explain.

Well I thought they went with gamespy master server support from release date of the game...
as I did collect some network traces with from beta of Codwaw when it was new and what I could see it didn't use any legacy q3 master server (like cod4 did), but I could be wrong...

unlucky I didn't save these traces... :(

if I'm not in error CoDwow uses the demonware network, I don't know if they offer a master server service too

it could likely to be that... I thought they only used demonware for authentication.

Afterall maybe I will have to walk down to the shop and buy the game to continue my investigation...

however thanks and keep up the great work with gslist!
