Compliling a .dll file

Background Info:
I Took my sof2_game.qvm, copyied what was inside of it. Made a new .dll file and pasted everything in there, and edited some stuff with VC++.

Three Questions:

1) Since you can't edit a .qvm file, will the way i just did it work?

2) If It will work, how do i complile it back into a .qvm file?

3) Is there an easier way to do this?

I can't because I don't know much about modding and so on.
Some months ago I compiled something for sof2 using a combination of lcc and the assembler tool there but don't ask me details because don't remember.

Anyway qvm files are binary code so you can't modify them, you can decompile them but you will never get the original source.

So i would have to get the orgininal source from like SDK?

absolutely not, probably the sdk of version 1.0 is more "similar" but NOT the same
