there are no similar known public security issues related to that game

I mean that I'm not aware of security bugs which have the effects you listed on bf2

on following site they mention that hack can run unauthorized console commands. << this must be rcon kicks etc.
http://www.ucdownloads.com/downloads/do ... le&id=2912

at fps hacks they also said they can run that with it.

can u perhaps have a look at it aluigi?

greets & thx

that one is a trainer, so a cheat for single player, not something for a security vulnerability.
there is a huge difference between a cheat and a vulnerability

Some trainers ( of some games, most probably not BF2, because it's pretty elaborated ) DO work in multiplayer but most games instantly detect that you are altering your memory because the trainer has injected in it. So you'll get banned instantly.

only games with a PB or similiar program running can ban you or detect trainers. so far i dunno any game that is capable of detecting any changes in memory.

Well, maybe not the older games but punkbuster does do it, which protects alot of modern games, and Valve's VAC seems to do the same thing.

NO. VAC is just a piece of JUNK and thats exactly what i mean. VAC banned me for NOTHING. i was only playing half-life's mod svencoop and got banned for nothing. played whole year and one day i was VAC banned..
only reason that i came up with, was that i was blocking steam from communicating with my system. it popped up some stuff and i blocked it with zonealarm. OR it banned me because i was using fraps (lot of ppl have complained that fraps got them VAC banned).
so VAC is completely different from PB, PB will ban you instantly or boot you or wont allow you to join ..etc, but VAC has no immidate effect. VAC bans usually occur week after the ''hacking''

PB is more advance than VAC...
VAC just detects if theres something different about their .exe (like injector)... or they check the process list for known stuff, just basic stuff, about as basic as Windows XP Firewall :P...
valve takes about 1 week to process if it is a real "hacker" or not, if they think it is, they ban the engine it is on...
either way, even balance and valve are both fags.

sry for lil offtopic.
VAC is totally standalone and steam/valve does not process anything. the reason why ban takes effect like week or more later is simple:
it prevents from real hackers from testing what is safe and what is not safe. so they can only test like 1 hack per week and make more ppl give up on it. and its also really DUMB, because i still dont know what got me banned. was it firewall, fraps or monitor calibration wizard .. or some cmd program.

You should contact Valve support and have em unban you, they will ( probably ) if you explain the issue.

Won't happen. -- https://support.steampowered.com/kb_art ... -RADZ-6869

yes i know, VAC = made by RETARDS. VAC gives a lot of false positives and has nothing to do with only anti-cheat.
it also says: it detects any changes to .exe and .dll files. how the fuck fraps changes exe or dll ? (some ppl said they got banned cuz they used fraps)
oh well anyways its not the right topic about it .. think i posted about my VAC ban in other section already.

punk buster frieken sucks. i dont play any games with it. it kicks people if theyre punk buster stopped responding etc, plus i got banned. its useless hacking in games that have it, they make new versions so fast hacks arent good for long.

it kicks people because it thinks u ended it to try and use a hack, it doesn't know it just stopped responding by itself, because even balance thinks they dont have bugs in it :P but PB is a bug to begin with... bug - an unnecessary thing that needs to be removed to make players happy and undisturbed while playing :)
