I've been reading on here over and over again, using search, yet i still seem to fail. from what i've read, i understand that ventrilofp is compatible with ventrilo 3.0 yet i can't get it to work
i do cd \windows\system32
then
ventrilofp -p password ip:port
and when it tries to join, even when i use the -f command, it says 2.3 protocol
no idea on how to fix this if someone can help me out that'd be wonderful, i've tried almost everything and i am yet to figure this out, unless i'm using an old version, i can't find anything else on the site that i didn't download =D so if someone can link it too that'd be amazing

the initial "2.3 protocol" you see is a test performed by the tool. when you use a wrong version the server replies specifying the correct one and so ventrilofp emulates the correct protocol.
anyway my ventrilobotomyfix patch breaks this feature and I don't know if 3.0.3 does something similar or not (at the moment this is a low priority)

well if it is using the right protocol, then how come it's not letting me connect to any of the servers with ventrilofp, even if i use -1

because, as already said, it depends by the server (my fix or 3.0.3 at the moment give problems)
