The news is not new but I don't know how much people are aware of it:

in short DynDNS can block any domain for any reason which they want in any moment (it's not important if there is no trace of such motivation in the policy when you bought the domain) and, moreover, can temporary own them (you can't transfer it) stoling all the money you spent for registering the domain with them.

So if somebody who is reading this post has a DynDNS domain is better for him to transfer it to another registar as soon as he can.

many people recommend gandi.net because doesn't make "jokes" (like instead do godaddy, enom, dyndns and so on) and is located outside US.
