Iv been mappin for Soldier of Fortune 2 for about 5 years, and have never come accross any1 who knew how2 solve my problem. The Problem : when u go into 'spectator' mode in SoF2, ur POV (Point of Veiw) is moved to a fixed spot, over-looking a section of the map. From what i have managed to find out, u can have up2 64 of these 'veiw' points. I understand this may seem negligable to some, but i am such an advanced mapper now that these 'little' things are buggin the Hell out of me. HOW DO I MAKE A VEIW (CAM) FILE???!!! Sum1 PLLLLZZZ help ...

u want to add more POVs ? or make it movable (so you can move around, like freefly) ? ill see wht other ppl here think, then ill suggest something..

Thx for ur reply bud, but i dont think u quite get what i mean. When a map has been completed (no more construction) it is only then that u can do / complete other necessary components. For example : when u make a BotRoute file (.WPS) it is done by loadin up the map in 'devmap' mode, and then entering a few commands into the console : "bot_editwps 1" enables Way-Point mode (but only if u have a Bot adding program like NeroFix), and then a couple others to make the connecting lines / Way-Points - 'visible', Etc. To make a spectator Veiw Point file i wood imagine that it too wood be done in devmap mode. I think u wood fly around in spectater mode and place Veiw Points at the position of ur POV. It is the commands that enable this (and the necessary function buttons) that i am after.
This really is a minor thing, becoz it is not essential to Game Play. But every time i go into spec (hav a smoke :) its a constant reminder of what i cant do. Instantly ur POV is put at one of these fixed points overlookin a section of the map. Whatever u can dig up wood b gratefully receicved man. Grim - out ...

hmm ok i guess Luigi isnt into this stuff much, or anybody else here hehe (game modding, mapping, view hacks..etc). I think Racer_S is able to help out. hes been doing those cam hacks and trainers for games. i mean really cool camhacks. you can change your view, freeze cam ..etc. cant remember the site. toca edit or something like that. he also made this SAAC (san andreas advanced control) tool. i havent really made any maps or modded games ..etc so i really dont know how to change such things. (well i made few maps for half-life long time ago :) )

found the site too. http://tocaedit.com/ he is dealing with such things i belive. not a mapper, but he makes camhacks, trainers, advanced controls (for games) ..etc.
