What exactly is the command line i should be using with tcpfp to dos a ventrilo with it???
Right now i'm trying to use
C:\tcp>tcpfp.exe -t 9999 -m 99 -f ventrilo_udp.h [ip] [port]
it shows
- load file containing the data to send: ventrilo_udp.h
- target x.x.x.x : 3881
- check if remote port is open: ok
- 99 max sockets
- 64 sockets for each select()
- start attack:
connect 0: ok .
disconnect 0: 0 bytes
connect 0: ok .
disconnect 0: 0 bytes
connect 0: ok .
disconnect 0: 0 bytes
connect 0: ok .
disconnect 0: 0 bytes^C
but nothing seems to be happening in the vent
ventrilo_udp.h is the updated one from here
should i be using another file?

a "tcpfp [ip] [port]" is enough so it will just fill the slots and when they go in timeout it will refill them one by one

my confusion is caused by how after a certain ammount of time or numbers the thign will stop.. and hold still.
then it will start flinging numbers up my screen again like normal.. but it still stops dead sometimes.. and in the moment or so in time the server is temporarily joinable....

tcpfp has been written for continuing without an end, so it should never stop.
when tcpfp terminates do you see a particular message or error?
If tcpfp terminates silently means there was a problem with the socket, it could happen if you use the -f option for sending data to the server.
Anyway for Ventrilo the best solution is to use ventrilofp.

ive never used this tool, but ive had similiar problems with other tools. cause of my problems: first one would be that i ran them in my crappy server (2 x 500mhz cpus, 128mb ram running XP custom) so it wasn't enought to run them (not with other stuff i was running there)
other problem is connection. if you don't have enought upload then sometimes it freezes for few secs ..or even mins...OR it just stops after all.
usually it stops if im using some other tools and/or eMule/torrent (those upload while download something) its not even about using all of the upload ... sometimes it just conflicts or something..i really don't know y it does this, but using other programs that upload can mess up those flooding tools.
