First let me congratulate you, your calcc is just awesome! MyCrc too!
Well, I have an idea! Maybe it could be useful I don't know :P
What about adding the input ascii? Like aThisIsAtext
I dont know maybe it will be cool or maybe it will be useless.

uhmm don't know, I should check if it's easily possible to add it maybe something like "mystring" is interpreted as ASCII.
there is only the problem of the endianess because the word "hey" can be 0x686579 or 0x796568 and so depends if it's better to privilege one or the other type of endian.
