Hi Luigi,
I know it's quite strange problem, but I used Wtcced without problem since yesterday evening, when, after updating at the last version (by the way, not saying it's thereason), I decrypted some files from Race07 game. All was gone OK as usual, except that in one of this files some poligons were missing. I checked with differen editors, so I'm sure it's not related with visulaization problems in the editor.
Exporting again the files in the game, the poligons are missing also there, where the original were perfect. So I'm quite sure there was a problem never seen before.
Did you ever heard about such problems?

Just to make a first check by my side, I kindly ask you if you can point me where I can download a previous versione of the wtcced to understand if it's something related with the new version.
Unfortunately I canceled my old version and I don't remeber which version I was using, but it was quite old, I assume one of the first supporting GTR Evolution (middle 2008?).

Depending of the result of my test, I'll contact you with more details.

dubito che sia un problema di wtcced in quanto il tipo di formato di file usato da Simbin non permette errori, ossia per la decrittazione viene effettuata la decrittazione blowfish seguita dalla decompressione con zlib ed infine lo xor.
se la decrittazione fosse errata anche se in un solo byte la successiva decompressione sarebbe impossibile e verrebbe visualizzato un errore.

poi e' impossibile il fatto che proprio i poligoni non siano presenti ed il resto del file sia intatto :)

comunque, onde soddisfare i tuoi dubbi, ti allego la version 0.2.4 di wtcced.
e' la versione precedente e l'unica che sono riuscita a trovare nel mio backup.

Si, infatti Luigi anch'io sono conscio che il tipo di trasformazione che fa Wtcced ?? ON OFF: o va o non va.
Ma credimi che ci ho sbattuto la testa in tutti i modi prima di interpellarti, ma come sempre troppo tardi arriva l'intuizione.
Era un banalissimo problema che non avevo nemmeno preso in considerazione: nella copia un file si era corrotto e non mi ero accorto che non poteva essere decriptato. Quelli erano i poligoni mancanti, scemo io!!!!
