welcome, I can somehow or other decode the password from the file from other computer? I have a problem because how he is loading from one's it works when from somebody it is a mistake. From above he is thanking for help .

the password in steam is encrypted using a key retrieved from 3 parameters of the computer: productid of windows, the machineguid key and the date of io.sys.
the local values of these parameter and the entire encryption key is visualized by steampwd when it tries to decrypt the password from the blob file.

so these values are unique of the pc and if you don't know them you can't recover the password.
the only exception is vista where the default password NoMachineSpecificPassphraseAvailable is the most used (for technical reasons) and so this problem doesn't exist.
from version 0.2.3b steampwd checks this default password automatically without the need of specifying it at command-line.

Somebody altered it and cannon without the strong effort. It will be sufficient to load the file and he is giving the password. But it only for vips.

btw. Is there some other way to take the password out having only this file?
