Is there any possible type of patch for quake engine based games (Jedi Academy) to stop players from constantly crashing your server or disabling your rcon?

Oh and the "# jampded Windows 1.0.1.0 q3infoboom fix 0.1 (jaw101q3infofix)" is the correct patch which stops players from crashing your server?

that one is the q3infofix patch specific for JA because the q3infofix work-around isn't enough for this game.
so instead of applying q3infofix you must apply jaw101q3infofix.

the bug patched by this fix (q3infoboom) is one of the most known and enough dangerous because exploitable from outside the server

if ur on ja 1.01, get a mod for ur server to secure it...
if ur on ja 1.0 and ur using a linux server, switch to windows and use the fixes for that (because theres 3x more for windows than linux)
