Hey luigi nice tool, recently i've discovered how to ban everyone from a server ( WolfET 2.60 pb enabled ), it was by accident, i just filled the server with 1 player then the admin started to !ban him, and after some seconds everyone disconnected and got the message that the admin put to ban the fake player like "You have been banned from this server, reason: GTFO, 999999 seconds", they fixed it later, so i tried it again and another dumb admin !banned it again and everyone got banned again lol, (also i combined it with q3infoboom, idk if that affected too) so how exactly this exploit works correctly ? i remember that in 2.55 some1 entered in a server with aimbot and he got banned, then after some minutes we all got banned suddenly by the same message he got, and he didn't put any fake players.

you CANT ban everybody .. it just seems that admins had no idea whts going on and started banning everybody (just some paranoid admins) or maybe they added some kind of a mod that will ban if somebody floods server with fake players...but maybe it doesnt only ban the ip .. so if you use fake players and somebody else joins in middle he/she gets ban too.
ive seen similiar admins who ban everybody if they don't exactly know who is crashing or messing up server. so they hope crasher will just quit.

this bug is the most absurd thing I have heard 8-)
here I have ET 2.60 and so I have made a simple test using one fake players on the ethernet address and one regular player connected to localhost.
"ban YXJ3J" (nice names ih ih ih) produced the banning of my ethernet address
relaunched q3fill -1 and then "ban ci4eV" and this time I received an error like "Bad filter address: " since the q3unban function was automatically enabled but absolutely no consequences for the "regular" player.

Anyway about q3fill, I have just updated the unban function making it using only the minimum amount of data for unbanning itself so now are occupied less bytes in the connect packet.

could you maybe give me the ip of that server ? I may try a code which is supposed to do exactly this :)

Actually the admin only banned the fake player but many times, it reconnected then the admin banned and so, and it didn't ban only the players that were in the server in that momment, everyone got banned even the offline ones, u can check their forums and see how mad they were lol:

omg lol .. they have no idea whats going on.
seems that their server messed up or something. or maybe it was some noob admin who had no idea wht is he doing and accidently banned everybody or something like that. i seriously doubt it was the tool. im sure admins just messed up and accidently did that OR they dont want to admit that they just banned everybody to get rid of flooder.

have you tried to change ip and then join ? if it works..then it means they banned everybody who had been in server before, not all ips.
