Some users have reported the not complete fixing (ok work-around) of the q3infoboom bug after having applied my patch on old versions of the Jedi Academy game.

In these cases the only suggestion I can give is to modify manually the "limit value" set by my patch.

It's a very simple thing to do so the following is the step-by-step:
- apply the q3infofix patch on the server executable
- at the end of the process click on YES when the patcher asks you to view the modified bytes
- keep note of the first offset (OFFSET OLDBYTE NEWBYTE)
- take a hex editor (XVI32 it's enough simple to use) and go to the first offset (CTRL-G), remember that the offset is in hexadecimal form
- now set a smaller byte, for example you should have 7F so try to use 3F or 1F
- save the changes and retest the server with q3infoboom

Example of q3infoboom command-line for the test:

q3infoboom -f 50 -q getstatus IP PORT

If you have updates, suggestions, results or other informations about other not fully patched games or versions please report everything here.

Correction: the problem affects the latest version of JA
So if someone is reading here, I (or someone else) hope to find a solution soon

nobody reported compatibility problems between q3infofix and the linux version of JA so q3infofix is still the only work-around available
