It does not work for me.Probably the problem is at my side.The pc has two Nics.They are both connected. One is connected to the local lan.I can not launch the tool on the local lan.
There is no problem with wan.I've no idea why...

uhmmm it's weird because the operating system should automatically route all the packets using its rules (netmasks and routing table)

A cool udpsz feature for the -P parameter (spoofed source address) would be to allow particular ranges.

For example: -P 10.0.0.1-10.0.0.254....... or maybe -P 10.0.0.1/24.........

So it would spoof the source address, but only use a random address within the particular network specified.

There have been a few times this would come in handy for me... like when I'm trying to figure out how much egress filtering certain ISPs do :P

Anyways, just a suggestion that would be cool.

Does spoofing mean that the it will hide the ip address where udpsz is running? So one will not be able to find out the initiating ip address from which the connection starts?

Yes, it spoofs the source address of each udp packet. Many factors come in to play that can block this though:

- Home firewalls / routers doing egress filtering
- ISP doing egress filtering
- OS blocking raw sockets
etc...
