Last I heard it uses the CryptUnprotectData function. If this is still the case, Luigi's cunprot code should do the trick. Not sure where the encrypted string is located, but I'll see if I can find anything else.
are you interested of doing it on your own or you just want to get the password locally ? if thats the case, then you can use MessenPass, you just run it and it shows you the stored msn passwords (also other ones).
