Hi people, I've been researching por a way to play a prank to an admin on Jedi Knight : Jedi Academy (version 1.01).

Already tried q3fill (works wonderfully) and sudppipe (can't manage to make it work, it always tells me the hostname is wrong >.<). Also msgboom.cfg (works with /say on JKA) wich doesnt seem to flood the server at all (or maybe im doing something wrong)

I would love some advice on the working exploits on JKA; I've been playing it for a real while but it feels nice to scare some censoring/easy-ban admins. Real admin abuse is an horrible thing to do on innocent players >.<, but again its not justice, simply a kid's prank.

I'm doing this for fun, I'm not really sure about the objective of this community but I don't mean any harm to anyone.

PD: My apologies if I said something out of place.

The error you receive from sudppipe means that if you passed hostname.com it has not been able to resolve it in a IP address, so probably you mispelled it or more probably you passed a wrong command-line.
Recheck your command-line to see if it's like the following:

sudppipe -l plugins\q3unban_sudp.dll IP PORT 1234

where IP and PORT are naturally the IP address/hostname of the server and its port, while 1234 is the port you want to bind locally.

About JA, well there are the usual q3infoboom and jamsgbof bugs plus the q3msgboom bug which disconnects the clients.
Naturally all these problem can be fixed.

Then there are the usual q3fill and rcon disabling problems, the second of this can be limited with my patch but naturally opens the doors to possible brute forcing attacks (but if an admin uses a strong password he has no problems).

about that hostname .. are you sure you inserted ip:port in right format ?
i havent used sudppipe myself so i dont know in what format it wants it. some programs want it as 127.0.0.1:1000 others want it with space like 127.0.0.1 1000.

what exactly you mean under prank ? you wanna crash it ? flood it ? lag it ? or all at once lol.
i agree about admins ... its fun to crash those servers with whining admins (in all games) ... who whine over some words like ''shit'' ''crap'' ..and other words like that..or they just ban you for beating him/her in his/her own server...

floods n crashes look good.

JA+ seems to fix the .cfg flood crashes ; maybe im wrong? or maybe I have to load it many times? It only shows about two lines of "aaaaa" on main chat, and does nothing else (though it did work back on JK2).

yeah they have that mod it has anti userinfo flood, anti force crash & anti msgboom/jamsgbof o_o so thats -3 exploits
if the server is running that mod.

It's running JA+ that's right.
